In celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month, the National Resilience Council (NRC) participated in the Pasig City Disaster Resilience Summit 2026, showcasing its programs, initiatives, and commitment to building safer, more prepared, and more resilient communities.

NRC Executive Director Ms. Silvestre Z. Barrameda Jr. shared insights on “Building Resilience Through Strong Partnerships”, highlighting the importance of collaboration among local government units, the private sector, academe, civil society organizations, and international partners in advancing resilience across the Philippines.

Through initiatives such as Pasig Handa, the summit emphasized that disaster resilience is a shared responsibility. By working together, we can strengthen coordination, improve preparedness, and build communities that are ready to face challenges and bounce forward together.
The NRC remains committed to sharing knowledge, strengthening partnerships, and supporting local government units and stakeholders in building a more resilient Philippines—together.
