
The National Security Summit 2025, organized by the National Security Council (NSC), was held on 12 December 2025 at the Philippine Army Officers’ Club in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, with the theme “Advancing Strategic Synergy to Achieve National Security.” The summit marked the culmination of the implementation activities of the National Security Strategy (NSS) 2024 and gathered key stakeholders from national government agencies, civil society organizations, and the private sector.
NRC’s Executive Director, Silvestre Z. Barrameda Jr., attended the summit on behalf of the office and participated in the recognition ceremonies. During the event, the National Resilience Council was conferred a Plaque of Appreciation in recognition of its valuable contributions and support to the implementation of the NSS 2024, particularly through interagency collaboration initiatives.
The summit reinforced the importance of strategic partnerships and whole-of-government and whole-of-society approaches in advancing national security objectives. The recognition received underscores the office’s continued commitment to supporting national resilience and security efforts.
