ICYMI: Building resilience together for Tiwi, Albay!
Last September 14-15 in Tiwi Municipal Hall, the National Resilience Council, together with Aboitiz Foundation, Inc., held an Operationalization of the Resilience Governance Platform and Orientation on the Resilience Governance frameworks and tools, Resilient Local Government Scorecards (RLGSS) and Barangay Resilience Bingo Scorecard (BRBS).
The orientation served as a deepening session on the five (5) resilience pillars, namely the Human Development, Environment, Infrastructure, Local Economy, and Human Security. This event is a follow-up to the Resilience 101 held last May 29 to June 1, which aimed at empowering the local government units, as well as our academic partners in Naga, Iriga, Tiwi, and Albay.
The participants were welcomed by the Hon. Jaime C. Villanueva, mayor of Tiwi, Albay. It was followed by the opening message of Mr. Fred Dalumpines of Aboitiz Foundation.
Together, we’re strengthening our communities and creating a resilient future!
