ICYMI: YEAR-STARTER PLANNING WITH THE SHIELD CONSORTIUM

The two-day Year-Starter Planning of the Strengthening Institutions and Empowering Localities against Disasters and Climate Change (SHIELD) Programme gathered key stakeholders from DILG, Provincial local government units, along with the Consortium Partners convened by the UNDP.

Together, they collectively identified priorities, allocated resources, and created an implementation roadmap, ensuring effective monitoring and evaluation for the program’s success in 2024.

Drawing insights from past events and integrating lessons learned, the process includes inputs from the previous Component 1 roadmapping, annual work planning, and Integrated Approach activities like the scoping missions and partners orientation. The programme is geared towards a successful start for the year 2024.
