The Executive Director of the National Resilience Council (NRC) represented the organization at a symposium held as part of the Civil Society Policy Forum during the IMF–World Bank Group 2026 Annual Meetings, contributing to conversations on a critical question: Does climate finance truly reach the communities that need it most?

The discussion, “Measuring Adaptation Outcomes in Asia-Pacific,” brought together civil society, development partners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to examine how climate adaptation investments can translate into meaningful and measurable outcomes for vulnerable communities across the region.
The NRC’s participation underscores the importance of placing people and communities at the center of climate action—ensuring that adaptation finance is accessible, accountable, and responsive to local realities.
