The National Resilience Council (NRC), together with the City of Pasig, convened to discuss Proposed Resolution No. 477-2026, which seeks to strengthen disaster preparedness, emergency response, and community resilience across the city through the Adopt-A-City Initiative.
The discussion underscored the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration in building communities that are better equipped to anticipate, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters. By bringing together local government, the private sector,, and resilience partners, the initiative strengthens coordination and creates opportunities for more responsive and inclusive disaster risk reduction efforts.
The NRC remains committed to fostering partnerships, preparedness, and collective action that contribute to safer, stronger, and more disaster-resilient communities.
Together, we can build a more prepared and resilient Pasig.
