The National Resilience Council (NRC) participated in the Enhanced Local Climate Change Action Plan (eLCCAP) activity held on July 9, 2026, reaffirming its commitment to advancing climate resilience and sustainable local governance.

As a long-standing partner of Iligan City, the NRC continues to support the city’s resilience-building initiatives. The activity brought together various offices of the Local Government of Iligan to collaboratively develop a systematic framework that will guide the effective implementation of climate change adaptation and mitigation measures.

Through continued collaboration, the NRC remains committed to supporting Iligan City in strengthening its disaster risk reduction (DRR) and climate change adaptation (CCA) initiatives by sharing knowledge, technical expertise, and resources—working together toward a more resilient and climate-ready community.
