One of the key goals of the National Resilience Council Foundation, Inc. this year is to expand its reach across sectors, and strengthen collaborative action toward resilience and sustainable development. In line with this commitment, the Foundation has partnered with Forest Foundation Philippines to advance transformative solutions and create lasting impact for communities, particularly in addressing environmental challenges and promoting sustainable practices.

This partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a significant milestone in NRF’s continuing efforts to deepen collaboration with community-centered organizations and institutions. Through this initiative, NRF and FFP aim to promote more inclusive, science-based, and community-driven approaches to resilience—one that responds directly to the realities, needs, and aspirations of local communities.

By combining expertise in Science and Technology with Leadership and Governance, the partnership seeks to bridge knowledge, innovation, and practical action. Both organizations aim to identify shared priorities, integrate complementary approaches, and develop meaningful initiatives that empower communities and strengthen environmental resilience. 

Together, NRF and FFP envision a partnership that not only drives innovation, but also creates sustainable and lasting impact for the benefit of present and future generations.
