The National Resilience Council (NRC) proudly participated in SUSTEX 2025, the first-ever Sustainability Expo held on August 29–30 at SMX Aura, Taguig City. This milestone event was co-organized by SM Prime Holdings, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST Philippines), and ARISE Philippines, bringing together leaders, innovators, and changemakers in sustainability and resilience.
As one of over 50 exhibitors, the NRC showcased its flagship programs and initiatives that contribute to a more resilient and sustainable future. At the forefront was the Resilient Local Government Unit Program (RLGUP), which champions a whole-of-society approach to resilience—aligning with SUSTEX’s core message: solving environmental challenges requires collective action.
Through our display, we highlighted the importance of community collaboration in tackling urgent issues such as waste management, energy conservation, air quality improvement, and individual accountability. When every sector—and every citizen—recognizes their role, systemic change becomes possible.
More than just an exhibit, SUSTEX 2025 was a platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and building meaningful partnerships. We look forward to nurturing the new connections we’ve made and collaborating further in the pursuit of resilient, sustainable development.
Missed us at SUSTEX 2025? Don’t worry! NRC is always open to meeting new partners, collaborators, and fellow advocates for change. We remain committed to advancing resilience through innovation, inclusive partnerships, and shared learning.
Let’s build a future where sustainability and resilience go hand in hand.
