Executive Director Silvestre Z. Barrameda, Jr. represented the National Resilience Council (NRC) at the Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop held in Taiwan on June 23, 2025.
The workshop brought together experts and representatives from Taiwan, Indonesia, Germany, and the European Commission to exchange knowledge and best practices. Discussions focused on the critical role of non-government organizations (NGOs) in fostering community-level disaster resilience, highlighting their mission-driven work and the challenges they face in disaster risk reduction and response.
In line with the celebration of National Disaster Resilience Month this July, the NRC reaffirms its unwavering commitment to advancing initiatives that strengthen community resilience. As an organization, we remain committed to making long-term, impactful contributions to disaster and risk preparedness and recovery nationwide.
