The province of Bataan continues to set the standard in strengthening community resilience through the Barangay Resilience BINGO Scorecard (BRBS).

The activity opened with a message from BM Popoy Del Rosario, MPA, who expressed deep appreciation to all participants and partners, especially the National Resilience Council (NRC), for their unwavering support. He reflected on how BRBS evolved from a simple ordinance into a fully implemented program across the province—making Bataan the first pilot province and a model for others.
Guided by the principle of “One Bataan,” the initiative highlights the power of collaboration and good governance. As emphasized during the session, “Public safety is a shared responsibility.”

The session revisited the Adapt Phase, noting that 237 barangays participated in the 2025 implementation, with 68 advancing, and recognized outstanding barangays during the Resilience Awards.
The Transform Phase, as the final stage, addresses the question: “How can we change existing systems to achieve resilience?” During this activity, the Steering Committee, with the help of the Bataan Peninsula State University, contextualized the indicators to ensure alignment with the Bataan Provincial Offices.
The activity concluded with reflections and actionable commitments, reinforcing a shared vision for sustainable and inclusive development.
