Mandaue Resilience 101 (R101)

[LOOK] Mandaue moves forward in its resilience journey! Participants from various local government offices joined the Resilience 101 last June 27-28, at the SP Session Hall.

Resilience 101, a capacity building training under the Adopt-A-City Initiative, introduced to the participants the concepts of risk and resilience and their integration into leadership and governance.

The training was spearheaded by the Bantay Mandaue – CDRRMO and actively supported by the Vivant Foundation, Inc, and Visayan Electric Co..

Alongside the capacity-building training, the National Resilience Council had the opportunity to meet with Mayor Jonas Cortes in which the need for transboundary actions for resilience was highlighted.

With deepened resilience knowledge at their hands, Mandauehanons are gearing towards enriching their efforts and innovations in building a more resilient Mandaue City.
