The City of Golden Friendship, Cagayan de Oro (CDO), presented its resilience initiative titled “Redefining a Future-Ready, Progressive, and Inclusive Metropolis.” Representing the city was Atty. Roy Hilario Raagas, City Administrator, who highlighted the innovative programs that have helped CDO achieve significant milestones in building resilience.

The presentation underscored the city’s achievements, positioning CDO as a leading city in Northern Mindanao. The leadership of Hon. Rolando A. Uy was evident through the initiatives showcased during the Colloquium—reflecting the city’s commitment to resilience and progress.

Atty. Raagas emphasized, “Resilience is about safeguarding a city’s ability to move forward no matter the challenge—through strategic investments in healthcare, education, disaster preparedness, climate adaptation, infrastructure, governance, and economic growth.” Which can reflect with current growth that CDO accomplished over the years.
