The ISDR-Asia Partnership (IAP) Forum promotes discussions on disaster risk reduction and how to achieve it through the Sendai Framework and the Asia Regional Plan. It also serves as a mechanism for the Asia Regional Plan to monitor its implementation and progress.
Delegates of the forum ranges from members of governments, intergovernmental organizations, civil society organizations, the UN, international organizations and bilateral and multilateral donors.
The 2018 IAP Forum aimed to share and review progress in DRR, identify key and emerging disaster risk reduction themes in the region and assess needs of national governments and potential contributions of stakeholders and international organizations in the implementation of the Sendai Framework.
